Lindsay Schumacher
Program & Process Leadership
Seeing the system. Aligning the people. Making the fix stick.
I lead cross-functional teams through complex programs.

What I do
I'm the person you bring in when the pieces aren't connecting.
Systems thinking: finding where programs and processes break down, and fixing the cause
Cross-functional leadership: connecting groups that don't normally talk and keeping them focused
Process improvement: Lean practices with an Agile mindset
Data-informed decisions: knowing what to measure and helping teams act on it
Selected work
From 38% to 85%+ first-pass yield in 90 days
A chronic, high-visibility quality problem, a schedule running a month behind, and groups that had never worked together. I listened to everyone, connected the experts, and focused the work on the two areas that mattered most. Yield more than doubled, the schedule nearly recovered, and the company saved six figures.
Background
My career started in a chemistry lab and grew into leading complex programs. Along the way I've learned how quality, suppliers, schedules, and people connect, and how to bring them together when they aren't.
Trained in:
Lean (SME Lean Bronze, 2022)
Systems Engineering (INCOSE ASEP, 2022)
Beyond work
You'll find me volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, Kansas Humane Society, and Wichita Pride, or wandering through creative spaces for inspiration. Helping people has always been part of who I am, and I'm drawn to work where good operations let good ideas, and good people, thrive.
Let's talk
I'm open to the right full-time or contract role. Send me a note or connect on LinkedIn, and I'll be glad to talk.
